This is a tremendously beautiful small sculpture, depicting the winged figures of Hypnos (Sleep) and Thanatos (Death), carrying a man's body - possibly Sarpedon - off the field of battle. In fact, it's the handle of an #Etruscan bronze cista, a cylindrical lidded vessel. 🏺 1/
