Out in @natmethods.nature.com: More dyes. They work. Quite well. And blink. Pick the one that fits your target, your technique, and your labeling density. With too many collaborators and institutes to list, but anchored at @hhmijanelia.bsky.social www.nature.com/articles/s41...
We introduce mirror-enhanced 4Pi-SMLM (me4Pi-SMLM), a streamlined single-objective configuration that leverages mirror-based retroreflection of the illumination beam to achieve near-isotropic localization precision of 2โ€“3 nm, enabling unambiguous resolution of diverse ultrastructural features.
We are happy to share our latest work, 4Pi-SIMFLUX, which combines structured illumination with interferometric detection to achieve near-isotropic 3D localization precision of 2โ€“3 nm and resolve sub-10 nm structural features across whole mammalian cells. www.nature.com/articles/s41... rdcu.be/eQVxt

The cryo cyclical multiplexing expansion microscopy (Cy-ExM) preprint from @seweryn-galecki.bsky.social , @kevin-dean.bsky.social et al is online. 20 targets across an entire cell. Mr. Snouty also joined the fun. www.biorxiv.org/content/10.6...
We present multi-immersion Oblique Plane microscope (miOPM), a light-sheet platform that can be adapted to a wide range of applications, from sensitive live cell imaging to imaging organs and cleared tissues. www.biorxiv.org/content/10.1...
