Come on. Mahan should have dropped out, but it wouldn't have done much for Steyer.

Here are the facts: 1) Hilton beat out Steyer by about 210,000 votes. 2) Had Villaraigosa, Robinson and Mahan (all ostensibly “progressive”) dropped out, those votes would have likely gone to Steyer. That would have been 456,000 votes, PLENTY of votes to beat out Hilton for second place.
