the logistics of making a fiction plot work are hilars. like, i just remembered that it takes 11 hours to fly from lax to paris on average and somehow i have to fit that into the thing. like, why is time? time is so inconvenient
The problem with oil drilling is that once you open a well, it's damn hard to seal it. There was a lot of oil in the water over the weekend here and I'd guess it's almost certainly from uncapped or badly capped wells in Summerland.
