Yes, the CBC did get that $150m boost. I think hockey was loss leader for the public broadcaster, largely held on to for cross-promotional purposes. Back its deal with Rogers started, some wondered if it was even really a legal given the CBC's public mandate. www.theglobeandmail.com/opinion/with...
