I know we're talking decades apart but when a few journalists got spooked by a couple of unpleasant but unconvincing Italian horror films being available on home video, the government had state censorship initiated within months. They can act on X. They just won't.
Everyone on X and elsewhere who called for a violent response should be charged with incitement. Everyone involved in the pogrom should be locked up with exemplary sentences. Govt should make it clear that will be the response in future anywhere else. Enough.
