ZELENSKYY: Today we have reason to express special gratitude to Britain. They have detained Russian oil tanker off their shores — this is the first such step taken by United Kingdom.
We must stop Russia’s shadow fleet to bring Russia’s war closer to a halt. Thank you, Britain!
Asylum backlog, falling.

Really important piece from @itvnewspolitics.bsky.social on a topic that's been overlooked for too long: outcomes for white working class kids in places like where I grew up have - for too long - been dreadful.
This Labour government is doing something about it.

These ghouls knowingly lied and lied to us, with catastrophic consequences. Why are they never held to account?
Am so grateful to @laurenedwardsmp.bsky.social for having the courage to bring the Terminally Ill Adults Bill back to parliament.

With you all the way Lauren.
I'm a Labour member & lifelong voter, but if Burnham wins this crazily unnecessary by election I think I might be sick.
Of course I'd rather him than another Reform charlatan, but tbh he's shown himself to be pretty close to being one himself over this, so I can't in all honesty support him.
Um, first spending test?
He’s not even an MP yet, never-mind the PM!
But yes, backdoor Burnham is a brand without much of a brain, and I sincerely hope he never gets as far as Downing Street.

“Starmer just doesn’t get anything done”
So what’s this, scotch mist as my mum used to say.
NEW: The Assisted Dying Bill is returning to Parliament this week.
Labour MP Lauren Edwards will reintroduce it on Wednesday after coming 2nd in the private members’ ballot.
“The process has been frustrated by a small minority”, she argues.
