In the May CPI, core goods was -0.11% on the month. Shelter was +0.32%, and nonenergy services excluding housing was +0.27%.
On a 12-month basis, core goods are inflating a bit less than they were at the end of last summer (+1.1% vs a recent high of +1.5% in Sept).
