“You know, I haven’t gotten an Oscar yet,” Ridley Scott told me in 2023. “And, if I ever get one, I’ll say, ‘About feckin’ time!’ ”
Just watched “Backrooms” alone in an empty movie theater…except for one person who came in 30 minutes in and sat right behind me. Creepypasta!
Pay no attention to the Scott Rudin behind the curtain.
Having seen "Barry Lyndon" on the big screen yesterday, I've decided that its big problem is casting: Ryan O'Neal and Marisa Berenson are both duds. I can't think of the right 70s actors, but it could have been made circa 2002 with Leonardo DiCaprio (or Paul Rudd?) and Uma Thurman. Thoughts?
