I wouldn't HAVE to block every single AI artist on Deviantart if the shit site would actually let me just remove all AI art from my feed instead of just giving me the "show LESS AI art" option.
I do find it a bit weird when I'm blocked by random strangers I've never even interacted with...
but then again I've started blocking AI artists on Deviantart without ever interacting with them so maybe I'm part of the problem.
