Tomorrow, Glasgow City Council's Planning Committee will decide the fate of the listed Hillhead Baptist Church.
I will be making the case for Councillors to reject the demolition application, on behalf of the 378 people who have objected.

The loss of trust is clear. The Prime Minister should now set out a clear timetable for his departure.

Had a great time visiting Big Noise Govanhill this week, who do incredible work to improve lives and strengthen community through music.
It was fantastic hearing some of the young musicians rehearsing and chat about my role as an MSP.
Wishing everyone the best for the concert!π»
No one in Scotland should live in fear due to the colour of their skin of their religious belief.
The displays of hate witnessed in the city are the antithesis of the compassionate and welcoming spirit of Glasgow, and will not be tolerated.
The impending closure of Queen's Park Glasshouse due to @srucnews.bsky.social leaving is disappointing.
I have a keen interest in Glasgow's hothouses. There is an interesting proposal in development.

@nebopeklo.bsky.social @paulsweeney.bsky.social wearing a nice t shirt at the anti fash demo today
Labour's @paulsweeney.bsky.social says the first duty of MSPs is to their constituents "not American neo-Nazis on social media".
He says some MSPs have "sought to fan the flames of division" with the talk of 'strangers' and calls for further protests.
Really important that Scottish Labour actually acknowledges the constitutional unrest in Scotland rather than just pretend that 2024 means we don't have to think about it anymore.
Good on @paulsweeney.bsky.social for bringing some much needed reality to the situation.
