Brad Lander is set to stand trial in a federal courthouse over an arrest in September that occurred while the then-New York City comptroller was protesting conditions at an immigration holding facility.
The trial for the congressional hopeful begins in New York on Wednesday, months after he was arrested at an ICE facility while inspecting conditions for immigrants held there.
