Every single day we’re met with a flood of information we’re supposed to follow, absorb, and understand to be ready for all the rest that will follow.

Kelly Hayes's essays are worth reading cause they describe difficult / scary in the context of ways to survive & counter (mentally & politically) without undue optimism nor despair.
Thus one isn't left feeling like giving up nor pretending everything's fine.
For me the balance is anxiety reducing.
The en-dash steals the show here, but it's still a fine opportunity to marvel at Elle Cordova's brilliance...
