I never used scripts and the only thing I have scripted now is my new safeties just until I have them memorized.
Everything in this thread is true but also... Why would you want to use a script? Part of the fun is putting your words into someone's head. Why would you want someone else's words?

I actually have quite the issue with prewritten scripts, believe it or not.
Firstly: I think scripts imply far too heavily "if you read this you'll hypnotize someone" and that just sets you up for failure.
Secondly: doing your own script is a vital skill.
