there is an incredible motornormativity bias with the judiciary in this country. long or lifetime driving bans are apparently seen as incredibly harsh and the latter are rarely if ever imposed, even in cases as awful as this one

How can this guy ever be allowed drive again? He has a ten year ban only? He had a long list of driving convictions and one after the killing of the couple and maiming their daughter?
