Summer is on its way, but for many the season signifies dangerous working conditions more than sunny beach holidays
This event will provide a discussion framework for why we need an EU directive on occupational heat, and what that directive could look like ⚖️
Sharply rising temperatures caused by #ClimateChange put many workers at risk of #HeatStress every year, often leading to serious health consequences - from dehydration and exhaustion to heatstroke and even death
This increasingly unsustainable situation, no longer occasional but persistent across multiple regions of the European Union, has led many to question the efficacy of the current EU legal framework when it comes to protecting workers
