Shoutout to the Big 12 for actually applying this pressure. You can fix some bad things through organization/solidarity/etc/etc!

Would there be anything stopping the other Big 12 presidents/schools from voting to ban Texas Tech from the title game if Sorsby plays? Or all schools/conferences voting to ban them from the playoff? Stop whining for some deus ex machina fix from Congress and police your own institutions.
