I've vastly underestimated just how many people are ready and willing to immediately hand over critical components of our society to these immature AI tools.
So many things are going to get so bad.
The system I'm responsible for at work was crawled by Amazonbot half a million times last month. The same few public-facing pages were requested over, and over, and over - averaging 1000 requests an hour (with a few breaks). That represents almost four times it's normal load. You stupid FUCKS.
I love the future.
Once again, we find ourselves in a situation where one side is building arguments based on data and expertise, while the other side ignores all that, smirking, while they dog whistle about "common sense".
