Genre antedating o'the day for the Historical #Dictionary of #ScienceFiction: "biopunk", from 1991 to 1988 (with a claim of coinage in the quote itself). We still have a few more -punks to work on, but this was a nice find.

In my long NYC experience, ordering "egg & cheese on a bagel" at a bodega gets you a sandwich made with 2 eggs. (Indeed, when I've specified "two eggs & cheese…" I've sometimes gotten 2 _sandwiches_.)
I learned my new bodega is making one-egg sandwiches. No wonder I'm that much hungrier by lunch.
