We've lost an incredible champion of the social and behavioral sciences.
RIP Ken Prewitt, former CASBS fellow (1983-84), CASBS board member, and winner of the third Sage-CASBS Award (2015). After 2015, Ken generously continued to visit the CASBS hill, meeting with fellows and organizing workshops.
It is with great sadness that the Council marks the passing of Kenneth Prewitt, eminent social scientist, dedicated public servant, and organizational leader who served twice as president of the Social Science Research Council (1979–1985 and 1995–1998).
