Just attended “Transparency Paradox” at London Open Science & Scholarship. It got me thinking about science idealization but open research can actually challenge that. Bad news wouldn’t damage my trust, in fact, it would probably help me understand it better, including all the factors involved. #LSE
Spoke at #CILIPNE about libraries supporting more open, relational research. Shared my work as a research librarian at @sheffieldhallamuni.bsky.social where I host the SHU open research podcast (on Spotify) which helps bridge disciplines and shift libraries towards more participatory spaces.

What if open science had intermediaries like courts do? People who help others actually take part in research, not just read it. Because science isn’t really open if it’s not accessible, understandable, and shared in a way that works for everyone.
