It just makes no sense. So many flows are:
1. Click login
2. Fill out form
3. Get told already signed up
4. Click the login button on the sign up page
5. Actually log in
Ridiculous. Sometimes I'm navigating directly to an account config page, just to be greeted with a sign-up dialog.
