Over at the ComicConnect/Metropolis booth. Holding “Action Comics” #1 and “Batman” #1. Geeked-out a bit.
Was able to pickup my commission of Baroness by Larry Hama. Nice to have an illustration of her by her creator. Also great to see Larry, again.
Got to see June Brigman and Roy Richardson. I picked up two daily and one Sunday strip of “Mary Worth” that they each signed. Each of the strips features the character people love to hate: Wilbur.

Picked up my commission from @danparent.bsky.social. I asked for Betty as Mary Ann & Veronica as Ginger. A fun combination, I think.
The original art for two Kirby FF pages. Priced at $55,000 each. A wee bit outside of my price range.
Neither Daphne nor Velma were present. Very disappointed. What?
It was a little outside my budget, but I was able to shift things around and am now the proud owner of “Action Comics” #1 and “Marvel Comics” #1!
Okay, if you believe that, I have a bridge to sell you. Still great to see copies, in person and not just images online.

Got to talk with @annienocenti.bsky.social and get a few comics signed. Was great to finally meet her.
