sometimes dysphoria is desperately wishing you could see the woman everyone else tells you that they see.
Trans people are not “fighting for unpopular positions that society isn’t ready for.”
Trans people are fighting to KEEP the rights we have enjoyed for decades.
We have been able to legally change our gender markers since the 70s and before.
Same with bathrooms, sports, youth, all for decades.
i need people i meet to stop telling me "you're not like other trans people who make it their entire personality" because
1.) i talk about it a lot, clearly. i just hold back at first because of people who say this exact kind of thing
2.) that just makes me not feel safe around you
