This one stings. I saw so many kickass bands at the downtown location in early 2000s. Austin without an Emo’s just doesn’t feel right.
Widow’s Bay is the best show on TV right now. A horror/comedy that does both genres extremely well.
Its Parks & Rec + Stephen King and I cannot recommend it enough.

No lie, the first season of Chartrulean was one of the most immersive, compelling, complex audio dramas I've listened to in... ever. Epic space opera drama but featuring real, human characters. Amazing writing, excellent acting, superlative sound design. It's great. This new season is gonna rock.
