1) in the ethical frame, there's no way the "good" (if any) of such incremental technical gains outweighs the problems/harms caused.
2) in the capitalist frame, such gains aren't worth the level of enterprise investment needed to sustain the costs (thus the bubble). They aren't "game changers."
