Our NASA funded study advances the technology readiness level of AI behavior quantification on the International Space Station. This is used for research into the effects of space radiation and microgravity on health, an important factor for longer missions!
Animals were safely returned to earth :)

We just got the Sprout robot from @faunarobotics.bsky.social in @talmo.bsky.social ’s lab. Usually robots mean weeks of debugging pain before experiments even start. This time we powered it on and got the robot to stand, walk and teleop on Day 1. Respect to the engineers that made setup so smooth!

Psyched to announce our COSYNE workshop on social behaviors (Mar 17th, Cascais). We have a stellar lineup of speakers on topics from animal cooperation and aggression to the social dynamics of LLM agents.
Co-organized with Libby Zhang (Allen Institute + UW).
