It’s tough to show the scale of the California Redwoods in a photo. Here is Priscilla on the Stout Grove Memorial Trail at the Redwoods National Park. Fuji XT2 w/16-80mm f/4 XF WR.
And here I am in the Land of the Giants. No old men were harmed in the making of this photo. 🥴 Fuji XT2 w/16-80mm f/4 XF WR.

Did zone focusing with my Fuji XT2 in Ocean Beach. The XT2 has this feature that when in manual focus mode it shows the DOF range in the viewfinder. I mounted the 23mm f/2 lens and set it at f/8 with a 1/500 shutter speed. Set the outer limit to infinity. DOF was 7 ft - inf. Auto ISO. Worked great.
“You’re never more visible than when you’re attempting to be invisible.” Amen to this. youtu.be/EBIY6zdxsPE
One last photo from Zion National Park. Fuji XT2 w/16-80mm f/4 XF WR.
The glow from the other side of the canyon was beautiful. I suppose this looks like one of my photos. Not one you’d associate with Zion National Park. Fuji XT2 w/16-80mm f/4 XF WR.
Indecision is hitting me. I can’t decide which of these I prefer.
California Redwoods backlit. Fuji XT2 w/16-80mm f/4 XF WR.
My hot take for the day. These e-bikes that kids are sporting around on are a scourge. The kids go too fast and drive dangerously. Children are going to get killed on these things. I’d much rather see kids sporting around on regular old bikes.
