In Canada, we have not had affordable initiatives to save energy & eventually $$ for working class people.
Subsidies for EVs & heat pumps are only accessible to people who can afford upfront costs, then save $$.
Now comes the ALTO high speed train proposal - does zero for most people to get to work.
