This version I'm providing more story moments midgame. Tokenizing the action economy for each player. Providing a generic set of rules for the game to communicate effects between players which is boosting interaction.
I was surprised how robust the game is handling most of the rule changes with a minimum of fuss.
It was far from perfect but the game was also trundling to it's natural albeit slow conclusion.
The story moments created a discussion about do we let them split into new victory conditions, give rewards that boost the advancement of the main objective, or (and this will be tricky) both at the same time.
When is the Eternal Decks pre order shipping? Watching ThinkerThemer explaining it has me excited to play it again.

I set aside the last two weeks and next week on my schedule to work on the minimum viable product that enforces some of my ideas for how Vast would work in a second edition. Thanks to @beyondsolitaire.bsky.social @johnnydale.com @adamjury.com among others for helping get it to the table.
