Totally down with #STEM Ed, #scicomm, pop culturexSTEM, #storytelling, comics and all the nerd stuff. Now is when we become heroes.

So @ryannorth.ca - was the world outside of the Leader's lab when he was experiencing the temporal wave in Hulk Smash Everything #2 Marvel Birdworld, since the Hulk killed the placental mammals in the past? If so, I have some ideas about the Fantastic Flock and Iron Corvid I'd like to discuss.
We tell students to be curious, challenge assumptions, test ideas, and learn from mistakes. And then we build organizations that struggle to do those same things. It's with a facepalm, but I wrote about it instead.

Fantastic Flock, Iron Corvid, and of course, Cap is a Bald Eagle... the hell am I talking about? Read the article.
And Russos and Marvel? CALL ME! Money on the table here!
If North can do a dinosaur Marvel Universe, I can do a bird one!
Batman a la Vitruvius
I mean...Colossus, anyone? (yes, AI generated)
Once you start looking for the Vitruvian Man in comics, you see him everywhere.
Batman? Yep.
Galactus? Somehow, yes.
And most recently: Firestorm
The story behind Leonardo's famous sketch is much weirder—and much more scientific—than most people realize.
Three stars, one cul-de-sac.
Turns out the Sun, Tau Ceti, and Erid are basically neighbors on a galactic scale.
So I made a travel guide to our (and Rocky's) neighborhood. Hope you dig.

My thoughts:
"Why Gen X Shouldn't Be in the Classroom?" (Response)

Science? Check. Hulk? Check. Dinosaurs? Check. A big asteroid? Check. I could’ve busted into a chorus of “My Favorite Things,” but I wrote an article about the cool science stuff in @ryannorth.ca's Hulk Smash Everything #2 instead.
And I want to talk about the Marvel Bird Universe.
Like a lot.
Look - if you're not reading FF by @ryannorth.ca and Humberto Ramos, I just...no words for what you're missing out on. Science, family, hope, optimism, and Ben writing the charter (constitution?) for the Future Foundation. I mean...Ben.
This is going to stay with me forever. Thanks, Ryan.
