I know Calvin’s dad is already having a moment, but every terrible “outsource precious and fleeting moments with your children to tech so that you can spend more time on your work” pitch makes me think of that one strip I never really cared about as a kid, but care a lot about as an adult.
3 weeks from today, I'll be launching the Kickstarter campaign for OUTLAW'S APPRENTICE: BROKEN BLADE, the first graphic novel in my Appalachian-inspired swashbuckling fantasy series. I'm putting the series out in my favorite format: mass market paperback size!

I've been trying to warn y'all about this pro badge price for years! The NYCC cost has TRIPLED since 2019.
It should be free for comic creators. We're underpaid, overworked, and none of these conventions would be possible without us.

We are open for in-store browsing on Wednesdays and Saturdays from 12-6pm, and 3-6pm on Thursdays and Fridays. Outside of that, we are here most days from 12-6pm for our subscribers. Just call ahead (206-781-4875) to make sure we are available for pickup. We’ll see you at the shop!
