Our inclusion has always been subject to political trends and perceived "popularity", because we're not seen as fully human. Society has been conditioned that way (including in rep that views us as a "trend".) Include LGBTQ+ folks at every level of the industry. That's how you fight exclusion. 🏳️‍🌈🏳️‍⚧️
