We developed a simple theory and showed that Random Acceleration Molecular Dynamics (RAMD) is consistent with a Smoluchowski equation with an effective temperature and diffusion coefficient that depend quadratically on the magnitude of the random force. pubs.aip.org/aip/jcp/arti...
