Nicieza takes the time to show us how the X-Men deal with grief. The art is by Kubert and Company, which means a lot of inkers worked on this issue, and you can tell. My biggest problem is something that is very common in shared universe comics. The main plot point didn’t even happen in this series.

Simone is balancing the action, character work, and the time travel/alternate reality aspects of her story perfectly. Guara delivers some high octane and fun action. The Terror Angels are imposing and She Spawn once again looks badass. I can’t wait to see what happens next.

This issue is mostly action, but Kirkman finds a couple spots for a bit of character work. Bressan absolutely kills it in this issue. The Sharkticons look awesome. In space, we see Darak and Garad floating, and Bressan changes up their angles to perfectly depict that. I absolutely loved this issue!!
MacKay is showing us just how relentless Moon Knight is in this issue. Pramanik has become one of my favorite artists. Both MacKay and Pramanik are showing what comic book storytelling is capable of in the best way. I don’t think they’re getting the credit they deserve. This series is amazing!
