English judges’ extemporaneous judgments continue to amaze. But what most strikes me about this is that the first line sounds like Tolstoy. It’s the patronymic, I think.

On one level, it was an absolutely bizarre case, but on another it was incredibly simple - people being recruited online to commit crimes for money, by people whose identity and motivations they neither know nor care about This is becoming commonplace, and I will be reporting more on the trend soon
