If you don't like what you're reading, STOP reading it and find something you DO like.
I've launched a book or two in my time. Not every book is worth my time and effort.
But a book I don't like may be a book someone else LOVES.
The best part is that there are hundreds of millions of books.

I am once again begging folks to understand the difference between ‘I don’t like this’ and ‘Nobody likes this’.
You are not the main character of the world. Readers and authors have different tastes. You are not the arbiter of what authors should and should not put into books.
