[ She said calmly, patiently waiting for the mad mage to try them. ]

He eyed the rift with scrutiny, then stared at the headphones.
βWhat are those?β he took them, looking at them curiously.

[ She moves her hands in a strange motion, opening a small rift in front of her. She shoves her arm inside of the rift, and pulls out a pair of noise-cancelling headphones. ]

[ The rift closes shortly after. ]
