He eyed the rift with scrutiny, then stared at the headphones. β€œWhat are those?” he took them, looking at them curiously.

[ She moves her hands in a strange motion, opening a small rift in front of her. She shoves her arm inside of the rift, and pulls out a pair of noise-cancelling headphones. ] * Put these on. [ The rift closes shortly after. ] * I can buy another one for myself later, it's fine.
