One of the problems with extreme wealth is it's very easy to just surround yourself with sad little sycophants who will tell you you're a genius instead of a monster.
I know the reason my attempts at writing have entirely stalled is because I'm trying to do it in highly distracting environments. I need to carve out two solid hours of solitude and just rediscover the joy of doing it.

Elected politicians aren't even dancing around it anymore. They've seen the files and now feel perfectly comfortable saying "Donald Trump raping children" in public. And the media couldn't care less.
No one really smashes their pumpkins anymore.

IMO one of the worst things about Twitter was group chats. Get ready to see a massive uptick in people being swarmed and reported by coordinated accounts, especially over politics.
