it has always been funny to me that the Ring books by Koji Suzuki have been pigeonholed as horror books when Spiral and Loop are really more like this
latest summoning salt was a masterpiece. that shit had me on the edge of my seat.
i like alternating the types of books i read, so after the spellbinding satanic verses ive now been reading halo: ghosts of onyx. both books mention prophets now that i think about it.
rude by magic is probably the worst song ever. i've tried to argue other songs, but that song is a fucking nightmare everytime it comes on. no matter what station is on at work that song is always at risk of playing despite being the worst song ever.
you know, my cousins parents banned a lot of cartoons from their house and limited video game time and all 3 of them graduated college and i work at the grocery store. starting to think they were onto something.

light spoilers but the part of Spiral that made me realize Koji Suzuki is working on another level is when the protagonist reads through a book called Ring about the events of Ring.
