I know it's paywalled but I enjoyed this obituary of the man who tried to teach me about the Dirac Delta function. Particularly struck by the thought that, as a Labour Councillor in Cambridge in the 1970s, he blocked the attempt to build a flyover over Jesus Green
So sad to read this. Maureen was terrific.
Today I’m marking seven years since our 10yo daughter Cleo died. In truth, I’m choosing to celebrate her. Because not a day goes by when I don’t think of her. And yes, sometimes that thought still comes with that tight knot in the chest, the one that never quite leaves. Some days, I still cry.
