This essentially happens to a character in my mecha series. He does get the order a little off, but we do get to being annoyed about her model kit not being accurate and being told off for complaining about it.

I need to draw a two panel nerdification/loserfication of a heroic mech pilot going from their retirement parade covered in medals to a frumpy spiral glasses nerd whining vociferously about how her plastic minis aren't accurate to real life. Maybe a considered friend/partner asking her not to yell.
