The 2026-27 schedule for the Wildcats' 50th anniversary season was released on May 12th. It includes eight home series, six away series, two home-and-home series with Michigan Tech, and a holiday tournament in December. The Cats’ will open their season at home for the first time since the 2022-23 season against former CCHA rival Miami (OH) on October 2nd. This will be the Wildcats' and Red Hawks' first series against each other since 2013, when NMU took four of six points that weekend.
