Gigabyte's Gaming A18 is an effective "budget" giant-screen gaming laptop, delivering respectable frame rates for the money to a quality 18-inch screen. Only its GPU's reduced power draw holds it back from true greatness.
The RTX 5060 model's starting price isn't clear on Gigabyte's website, but you can find it at $1,569.99 on Amazon. (This is also the only retailer we found carrying this version.) The RTX 5070 model costs $1,999.99 and is available at several retailers. Both of these laptop GPUs have just 8GB of video memory, compared with 16GB or more in many 18-inch gaming laptops' GPUs. Count on this, and more specifically, this laptop's GPU's power rating, to come up in benchmark testing.
