Netflix has really carved out a niche for deep-dive documentaries on absolutely bizarre crimes, and I'm expecting Maternal Instinct to keep the streak going. In 2020, a Texas state trooper pulled over a woman named Taylor Parker for driving erratically. When he approached the car, he found Parker covered in blood and hysterical, claiming she'd just given birth to a baby. The child was pronounced dead at the hospital, and then things started to unravel into a twisted tale of the deepest possible betrayal. Big yikes warning on this one.
