It's pretty disgraceful that there has been absolutely no mention of this from the Prime Minister.
It's increasingly clear that some attacks, correctly, warrant disgust, emergency measures and days of media coverage.
Others seem to be met with silence.
Maybe the "chains" are supposed to be straining and breaking, snapping even, whilst the thistle stays strong. But then the broken bits of the chain wouldn't have nice rounded ends. It would be more explicit, more intuitive as to what was going on.
Can I briefly suggest the concept of a UK-only social media service, a bit like Twitter or Bluesky. Somehow limited to only people geographically in the UK (no Brits overseas)
Also it would be text only, no photies or videos.
You could post rude, but only if its poetically evocative descriptions.
It would still have repost and quote-tweet functionality, and threaded replies.
It just it would naturally filter out foreign coves and people unable to read or articulate themselves verbally.
Whilst I'm broadly supportive of the message, has this person ever seen a chain in real life?
What's going on here? Are they chain links? Are they just random bits of metal arranged somehow.
For the avoidance of doubt: there is video footage showing far right extremists walking / driving through our communities to identify people as possible immigrants; they are literally being hunted down our streets and in our neighbourhoods, with homes set on fire etc.
