☑️Fully fund both the Detention and Deportation Defense Initiative (DDDI) which provides free immigration legal services to income-eligible residents facing deportation or detention and also the unaccompanied minors program.
☑️Expand the Child Tax Credit to children beyond age 5 through 11 and increase the maximum benefit from $1,000 to $1,500 for children under age 6.
☑️Expand the Earned Income Tax Credit by increasing the maximum credit amount, raising income eligibility caps, and expanding age eligibility.
Today, New Jersey sign into law a permanent ban to end all 287(g), so that no state or local law enforcement agency in NJ can be deputized to take on immigration enforcement authority, eliminating one of the Trump regime’s key tactics for mass deportation and family seperation.
