I was excited for the Gunn version anyway tbh, especially if the way they try and differentiate it is by explicitly leaning into "Batfamily" characters for the first time onscreen. Just please change your mind about using the Damian version of Robin, good god I'm begging here.
If this rumor is true you almost have to wonder if it's part of a plan to purposely get Batman fans so furiously pissed that they won't be disappointed when this turns out to be the end of the Reeves series and Gunn takes over for his DCU version lol
