Thanks for posting this! Lots of good ideas in the comments I want to try. I did a lot of testing on workflow apps ten years ago. Now that I'm wrapping up book #1, I'm rethinking these same questions. In the meantime, I'm still +1 DevonThink for archival management and Scrivener for writing.
